Metro Peer Support Unit- The unit is staffed by law enforcement personnel and is designed to support and assist officers from member agencies involved in critical incident stress and post-trauma situations. The unit will assist through proven strategies to intervene with those suffering from the effects of their exposure to trauma. The emphasis will be on advanced defusing and debriefing in complex situations.
