Metro Peer Support Unit- The unit is staffed by law enforcement personnel designed to provide support and assistance to officers of the member agencies that are involved in critical incident stress situation and post-trauma situations. The unit will assist through proven strategies to intervene with those suffering from the effects of their exposure to trauma. Emphasis will be on advanced defusing’s and debriefings in complex situations.
